You're familiar with google but are not sure what info is lurking out there that could be of some help. You want to learn about your birth family so you've made that phone call to the agency used by your parents. You have so many questions! They are unable to help. Now it's time to find out your rights. What are the state laws, dealing with finding your family, where you live? Do you have the right to access adoption records? Searching, Searching, Searching. Google it! You may have another search engine you're more familiar with you could utilize. There are so many sites to sift through!

If you are familiar enough with RootsWeb you should be able to navigate and find a message board with adoption as the topic. Here you will find kind people willing to help by posting useful information including; agencies listed, adoption laws, individuals willing to help search, etc.... You will also find adoption queries posted by Birth Parents with possible dates and places of birth and adoption.
